Let the number to replace the question mark be equal to $$X$$
So, $$ 4frac{2}{5} imes 3frac{1}{3}-X= 5frac{1}{3} $$
Therefore, $$frac{22}{5} imes frac{10}{3} - X = frac{16}{3}$$
Or, $$frac{44}{3} - X = frac{16}{3}$$
So, $$X = frac{28}{3} = 9frac{1}{3}$$
