Let the number to replace the question mark be equal to $$X$$ So, $$8frac{1}{3} imes 4frac{2}{5}+X=44frac{2}{5}$$
Hence, $$frac{25}{3} imes frac{22}{5} + X = frac{222}{5}$$
Or, $$frac{550}{15} + X = frac{222}{5}$$ So, $$X = frac{222}{5} - frac{550}{15} = frac{666 - 550} {15} = frac{116}{15} = 7 frac{11}{15}$$
