Considering statement A, X(X+3)0 . Here values of x which satisfy are X = ..,-2,-1,4,5,6,... So using only statement 1 we know that uniquely modulus of x has to be less than 3. Hence, the question can be answered by one of the statements alone, but cannot be answered by using the other statement alone.
