Let price of sugar = Rs. 10/kg and consumption = 10 kg => Expense on sugar = Rs. 100 New price = $$frac{130}{100} imes10=Rs.$$ $$13$$ New expenditure = $$frac{110}{100} imes100=Rs.$$ $$110$$ => New consumption = $$frac{110}{13}=8.46$$ kg $$ herefore$$ Decrease in consumption = $$frac{(10-8.46)}{10} imes100=15.4approx15.38\%$$ => Ans - (B)
