Quantity of milk in 168 litres mixture = $$frac{3}{(3+4)} imes168=72$$ litres => Quantity of water = $$168-72=96$$ litres Let $$x$$ litres of water is to be added. => $$frac{72}{96+x}=frac{3}{5}$$ => $$360=288+3x$$ => $$3x=360-288=72$$ => $$x=frac{72}{3}=24$$ $$ herefore$$ Quantity of water to be further added is 24 litres. => Ans - (B)
