Given : G is the centroid of $$ riangle$$ ABC and GD = 5 cm To find : AD = ? Solution : A centroid divides a median in the ratio 2 : 1 => $$AG:GD=2:1$$ => $$AG=frac{2}{1} imes5=10$$ cm $$ herefore$$ AD = AG + GD = $$10+5=15$$ cm => Ans - (C)
