Speed of train = 72 km/hr = $$(72 imesfrac{5}{18})$$ m/s = $$20$$ m/s Let length of platform = $$x$$ m and length of train = 250 m Using, time = distance/speed => $$frac{250+x}{20}=50$$ => $$250+x=50 imes20$$ => $$x=1000-250=750$$ m => Ans - (C)
