    For a number to be divisible by 9, sum of the digits of the number must be divisible by 9. Let the number be = $$247x679$$ => Sum of digits = $$2+4+7+x+6+7+9 = 35+x$$ The next multiple of 9 after 35 is 36 => $$35+x = 36$$ => $$x=36-35=1$$ => Ans - (C)
