Let marks scored by 1st student = $$x$$ => Marks scored by another student = $$(x + 24)$$ According to question, => $$(x + 24) = frac{65}{100} imes (x + x + 24)$$ => $$x + 24 = frac{13}{10} imes (x + 12)$$ => $$10x + 240 = 13x + 156$$ => $$13x - 10x = 240 - 156 = 84$$ => $$x = frac{84}{3} = 28$$ $$ herefore$$ Marks scored by other student = 28 + 24 = 52 => Ans - (D)
