Length of both trains = $$120+120=240$$ m Let speed of each train = $$x$$ m/s The trains are moving in opposite directions, thus relative speed = $$(x+x)=2x$$ m/s Using, speed = distance/time => $$2x=frac{240}{12}=20$$ => $$x=frac{20}{2}=10$$ $$ herefore$$ Speed of each train (in km/hr) = $$10 imesfrac{18}{5}=36$$ km/hr => Ans - (A)
