Let radius of circle = $$r$$ cm => Circumference = $$2pi r=88$$ => $$2 imesfrac{22}{7} imes r=88$$ => $$r=88 imesfrac{7}{44}$$ => $$r=2 imes7=14$$ cm $$ herefore$$ Area of circle = $$pi r^2$$ = $$frac{22}{7} imes(14)^2$$
= $$22 imes2 imes14=616$$ $$cm^2$$ => Ans - (B)
