    Let income (in Rs.) of S = $$3x$$ and income of T = $$4x$$ Let expenditure (in Rs.) of S = $$y$$ and expenditure of T = $$y$$ Savings of S = $$3x-y=4000$$ ----------(i) Similarly, $$4x-y=22000$$ ---------(ii) Subtracting equation (i) from (ii), => $$4x-3x=22000-4000$$ => $$x=18000$$ $$ herefore$$ Income of S = $$3 imes18000=Rs.$$ $$54,000$$ => Ans - (B)
