As the Milkman is making 25% profit on selling milk and water solution at Rs 15 , the Cost price of water and Milk solution is $$frac{15}{1.25}$$ = Rs 12 let the amount of pure milk be x litre and amount of water mixed with it be y litre. So using , $$frac{16x}{x + y} = 12$$ = $$frac{x}{y} = frac{3}{1}$$
