Let the salary of A be "a" and the salary of B is "b" $$frac{a}{b}$$ = $$frac{8}{7}$$ Now , After 20% increment, salary of A becomes 1.2a and after increment of 10% , salary of B becomes 1.1b Given that $$frac{1.2a}{1.1b}$$ = $$frac{96}{77}$$, this implies that $$frac{a}{b}$$ = $$frac{8}{7}$$ As both the equations are giving same ratio and in no way the exact values of A and B can be found out . Hence Option D is the correct answer
